Special Event, Taka Iimura

Taka Iimura will present a program of Japanese Avant-Garde Films. 76 min. Sponsored in part by the Japanese Society, this program surveys some of the major trends in recent experimental film in Japan. these eight short and diverse films include one by Iimura himself. Note: On Sept. 20 Iimura will present the second program of this two-part series of films at the Pittsburgh Film-Makers.
