Special Event, William Moritz and Elfriede Fischinger

Film scholar William Moritz and Elfriede Fischinger, the filmmaker's widow, will present [Oskar] Fischinger's pioneering abstract films from the 1920s and his studies of moving forms set to music from the 1930s. The diverse influence on his work includes aspects of Disney's Fantasia.
