Special Event, Films from the Raphael Collection

ELIZABETH RAPHAEL: screening and discussion of films from the Raphael Collection. In conjunction with the Museum's current exhibition of objects from the collection of Mr. and Mrs. Orin Raphael, these films, also from that collection, will be presented by Mrs. Raphael, a friend of both Maya Deren and Joseph Cornell. The program includes early "magic" films by Emile Cohl and Georges Melies, ROSE HOBART by Cornell, RITUAL IN TRANSFIGURED TIME by Deren, and others. Presented: Films from the Raphael Collection
