Visiting Filmmaker, Paul Glabicki

PAUL GLABICKI, nationally recognized Pittsburgh animator, will present a program of recent works including SEVENTY-SIX AT HOME (1976). DREAM 733 (1977), SCANNING (1976), DIAGRAM FILM (1978) and FIVE IMPROVISATIONS (1979) . Glabicki employs many elements of animation—live action, collage, pixillation—to create dazzling films full of metamorphosis and abstract beauty. His work has been described as being in the tradition of modern painting with the spirit of Rube Goldberg.
