Film Section Museum of Art Carnegie Institute 4400 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh. PA 15213 412-622-3212
FOR USE THRQUei: JANUARY 27:
The eccentric avant-parde filmmaker George Kuchar (pronounced "Q-Char") will be in person at the Museum of Art, Carnegie Institute, to present a program of his films on Tuesday, January 27 at 8 o'clock.
For twenty years Kuchar has been making outrageous parodies of Hollywood movies. He is certainly not to be confused with the much more sedate George Cukor (pronounced "Q-Kore"), who directed DIMMER AT EIGHT and THE PHILADELPHIA STORY.
Kuchar1s films are being shown in an eight week series on Tuesday evenings in Carnegie Institute's Museum of Art Theatre. His appearance on January 27 is part of this series.
For more information, call the Film Section at 622-3212.
