Visiting Filmmaker STAN BRAKHAGE will be in Pittsburgh to screen two new films:
TRAGOEDIA (1977)
THE GOVERNOR (1977)
A discussion and screening will be held in the Museum of Art Theater Carnegie Institute at 8:00 P.M. Admission $1.00
Filmmaker Stan Brakhage will be at Carnegie Institute on October 20th, and at the Pittsburgh Filmmakers on October 21st and 22nd, to screen and discuss his most recent films.
Brakhage's 25 years of innovative filmmaking have established his international reputation as one of the most important and influential artists to have worked in this field. Hi3 work includes the well known ’'Trilogy", filmed in Pittsburgh, to be screened at Carnegie Institute on October 11th and 18th.
