VISITING FILMMAKER JOEL SINGER Singer’s films are painstakingly composed frame by frame, image by image, and they have an exquisite beauty and intense energy. His recent films on this program will include POET IN ORBIT (1978), 6x5x4x3x2xJAMES (1978), GLYPHS Ill (1980), and FRACTIVE CLUSTERS (1981). He will also present four films made in collaboration with the poet and filmmaker James Broughton: WINDOWMOBILE (1977), SONG OF THE GODBODY (1977), THE GARDENER OF EDEN (1981), and SHAMAN PSALM (1981).
