Letter from Bill Judson to Peter Feinstein
(2/3/1978-2/6/1978)
Peter Feinstein 36 Shepard St. Cambridge, Mass.
Feb. 3, 1978
Dear Peter:
Enclosed is a signed copy of the contract, about which a couple of questions:
1. Under "Lecture" it says we must rent the film from the Coop, but in "Special Arrangements" it says rental is covered•
Will Hollis have film with him??
Is there a rental charge??
2. Under "Travel" it says that accomodations are included in the basic fee, but in "Special arrangements" it says we are to pay room & board directly.
Which is it??
Would Hollis like to stay with Bay & me?? (Our third floor space is self-contained & had "private bath").
PLEaSE CaLL ME RIGHT AWAY WITH THE aNSWERS, so I can plan!
About the Feb. 17 stop-over Hollis is making in Pgh.:
I have Marcel Ophuls in town all day that day — two afternoon seminars and an evening lecture. I don't see how I could do anything that day (I think I would have to be along, since the local talk show people don't know ANYTHING). I'm checking on the possibility of a Sat. morning taping, but it seems unlikely.
Thanks for sending the photos, at least one of which we will use for a poster, and for the xerox material. Have you seen the Jan.'78 (V,7) issue of the U.S. AFTERIMAGE? Scott Macdonald's general piece on HAPAX LEGOMENa might also be useful for your purposes.
Regards,
Bill Judson
